EDITOR’ S NOTE

Welcome to the 54th edition of Intelligent CXO and a special GITEX GLOBAL 2025 edition. I hope those attending GITEX in Dubai have a prosperous and enlightening time at this important global event.

On the front cover of this month’ s magazine, we feature Khalid Murshed, Chief Executive Officer of e & enterprise. He talks about the company’ s operating system, which is about building an ecosystem where every signal, human or machine has a place, a purpose and a path to value. For him, the challenge is not about buying more technology but ensuring existing tools work together without creating new layers of complexity.
Murshed discusses how e & enterprise doesn’ t see AI as a feature but as connective tissue that links cyber, cloud, data and sector platforms into one adaptive nervous system. He also talks about how trust is not an afterthought with its systems, but a prerequisite. He said:“ At e & enterprise, we are engineering trust into systems that power courts, hospitals, call centres and capital markets because transformation without trust is noise. But transformation with trust? That’ s nation-scale momentum.” Turn to page 14 to read more.
Our Expert Column this month comes from Ben Leitch, our CXO Cyber Connections and Digital Content Manager. He discusses why hours don’ t equal output and looks at how workplaces are trying to recreate the old model in a new medium: tracking login times and meeting attendance and monitoring that little green tick on Teams as if screens were desks. Turn to page 18 to read more.
Customers expectations have grown and companies need to keep up with them. Customer behaviour also shifts quickly, making it an everchanging landscape. Jamie Homen, Chief Customer Officer at Mural, explains how companies need to see the customer as the north star. The customer needs to be at the heart of their operations right at the start and not seen as a post-launch activity. Turn to page 43.
We also have an Intelligent Technology section dedicated to all the latest technology developments affecting businesses and a page called Project Round-Up which features news from across our regions.
I hope you enjoy the magazine and if you’ d like to contribute to any future issues, please do not hesitate to contact me by emailing rebecca. miles @ intelligentglobalmedia. com
