Tell us a bit more about Alteryx and how it started.
From its early days in 1997 in Irvine, California, Alteryx has been driven by a singular mission: empowering people to achieve more through easy-to-use analytics. Alteryx was founded by Dean Stoecker, Olivia Duane Adams and Ned Harding; the company was originally known as SRC LLC. In 2006, the company adopted the name Alteryx to reflect its core product.
Since the beginning, Alteryx has been committed to breaking down barriers between technology and business users. By making advanced capabilities accessible to everyone, Alteryx enables our customers to unlock faster, more reliable insights on their AI analytics journeys. Today, Alteryx empowers organisations to turn data into actionable insights that drive impact.
How has the business grown since it started, and how did you ensure growth?

Alignment and communication are at the core of my leadership principles. To achieve results, a team must be unified in shared goals, focused on outcomes and committed to working together. This alignment creates clear direction and a collective purpose. Shared processes are essential for ensuring baseline efficiency, but they are just a starting point. Surpassing that baseline requires building a team of talented people and empowering them to drive results. When teams are aligned and have access to transparent communication, they not only meet expectations, but often exceed them.
