HMD Global will bring Nokia phones 5G device manufacturing to Europe
HMD Global , the home of Nokia phones , has announced the first stage of its process of manufacturing and testing smartphones in Europe . Strengthening its security proposition for key industries , HMD Global is developing capabilities and processes to bring 5G Nokia device production to Europe , starting in 2023 .
With stringent stipulations for manufacturing and testing within the EU , HMD will offer customers a high level of security assurance through customised software and security features , working with a number of additional IT security partners .

These new developments are a continuation of HMD ’ s commitment to conducting secure and transparent operations within Europe . HMD operates a ‘ software security and privacy by design ’ methodology , and all customer and corporate data is stored and processed on servers in Finland since 2019 .
Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority launches online recruitment platform
In alignment with Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority ’ s ( ADAA ) mandate to protect and preserve public funds and resources , ADAA has launched an online recruitment platform to attract highly competent and talented individuals in various fields to fulfill its mission and objectives .
The ADAA platform is a significant step in fulfilling the Authority ’ s strategy to support its important role by recruiting competent individuals who possess highly valuable education , knowledge , skills and expertise . Jobseekers can register on the platform and add the details of their educational background and qualifications , update them as needed , attach personal supporting documentation such as resumes and certificates and search for vacancies that suit their qualifications and experience . The platform also enables them to update their data on a regular basis .
“ Jobseekers can access full descriptions of vacancies before applying to save time and effort , follow-up on the status of their applications and receive notifications about their application status , dates of interviews and tests to be completed by all candidates . It also enables applicants or candidates to communicate directly with recruitment officers .”
